Choosing to cycle or walk for any journey is not only a great way to reduce pollution, it is also a fantastic keep fit regime and reduces traffic and parking problems.

The Ramblers' Association
is Britain's biggest walking charity. It works to promote walking and to improve conditions for everyone who walks in England, Scotland and Wales.
The Ramblers' Mendip Group arranges shorter walks on a Thursday and longer walks on a Sunday. Their walks are usually in the Mendips but sometimes the group goes as far as Exmoor, The Quantocks, Dorset and Wiltshire. As the UK’s National Cyclists’ Organisation, CTC has been protecting and promoting the rights of cyclists since 1878, firstly as the Bicycle Touring Club and subsequently becoming the Cyclists' Touring Club.
